Last week for Doctors Project

Sorry there isn't a lot of pictures this week- I was sick Tuesday- Thursday :(   Student of the Week  This friend wanted to bring his baby brother for show and share. Hemos estado buscando fotos de lo que necesita la ambulancia. ¡Echale un vistazo! Germs- What will happen to the pepper?   I had a bowl of water with pepper (Germs) on the top. I put my finger in the bowl with dirty hands and the germs (pepper) did not go anywhere. Then I put soap on my hands and then put my clean fingers in the bowl and the germs went to the side of the bowl. This is a good reminder to wash our hands to get rid of germs.  Gérmenes

Doctor Project- Week 2

  Student of the Week  Alumna de la semana We LOVE Public Schools!  Ambulance  This week, students learned parts of an ambulance and what the ambulance does. Then at Free Choice Time, students painted, and figured out all the parts that their ambulance needed. We looked up picture of the back, front, side, and inside of ambulance.  Ambulancia Esta semana, los estudiantes aprendieron las partes de una ambulancia y lo que hace la ambulancia. Luego, en Free Choice Time, los estudiantes pintaron y descubrieron todas las piezas que necesita su ambulancia. Buscamos una imagen de la parte trasera, frontal, lateral e interior de la ambulancia. Doctor Project- Week 1

 Student of the Week  Alumno de la semana What do you know about Hospitals?  Students told me what they know about hospitals. That gives me a better idea of what they need to learn for this project. We have transformed the classroom into a hospital.  ¿Qué sabes de los hospitales? Los estudiantes me dijeron lo que saben acerca de los hospitales. Eso me da una mejor idea de lo que necesitan aprender para este proyecto. Hemos transformado el aula en un hospital. Hospital Cross  Students worked together to paint the paper red. Students learned that when you see a red cross that means first aid.  cruz hospitalaria Los estudiantes trabajaron juntos para pintar el papel rojo. Gingerbread Man

  Happy Birthday  We celebrated two birthdays this week! We LOVE you both!  What did you get for Christmas?  Students were to write in their journals on what they got for Christmas.  Gingerbread Man Paper  This week, we have read different versions of the Gingerbread man, boy, girl, and family. Students had to then answer questions about the story at Center Time.  .  What did you eat first?  Students were given a gingerbread cookie. At the table, teachers watched to see what part of the cookie the students ate first. The head, arm, or leg. Then students wrote their name on a sticky note and then we graphed that information.  Why didn't the gingerbread man want to swim in the water?  Letter Cc  Students are learning to recognize, say the sound, and write the letter Cc. They are also coming up with words that start with the letter Cc.
