 Student of the Week  Alumno de la semana Science Experiment  I brought "teeth" to school. (Eggs) Students had to figure out what would happen to the teeth when they sat in sugar. Students LOVE chocolate and popsicles. So we pretended that we ate the chocolate and popsicles. Then we let the egg sit all day in it. At the end of each session we saw that the teeth changed colors. That is when we decided to brush our teeth with toothpaste. Ask your child what happened next :)  Experimento científico Traje "dientes" a la escuela. (Huevos) Los estudiantes tenían que averiguar qué pasaría con los dientes cuando se sentaban en azúcar. Los estudiantes AMAN el chocolate y las paletas heladas. Así que fingimos que nos comíamos el chocolate y las paletas heladas. Luego dejamos reposar el huevo todo el día en él. Al final de cada sesión vimos que los dientes cambiaban de color.   Happy Birthday GIRLS! :)  Student of the Week  Make a heart  This artwork took two days to complete. Students were to paint their paper either red or pink. Then the next day, students folded their papers and then drew a curve. Then students cut out their curve. They opened it up and they made a heart!  Draw Mat Man  Students followed the directions and made Mat Man. This is working on the lines and curves which make up letters when we write.    Sorting  AM Students- are working on sorting my color  PM Students- working on sorting my color, size, and details.  AT HOME  When you are playing with your child, you can sort their toys with them.  What have you learn?  Since it is the end of our project, students reviewed everything that they have learned.
