Plant Unit- Week 2

 Happy Birthday!  ¡Feliz cumpleaños! Number 7 and 8  4 year olds wrote the number 7 and 8 in their handwriting books.  número 7 y 8 Los niños de 4 años escribieron el número 7 y 8 en sus libros de escritura a mano. Parts of a Plant  Students learned the parts of the plant and why it is important. Plant Unit- Week 1 (Plant Expert)

 Student of the Week  Alumno de la semana Number 6  Número 6 Plant Expert   Mrs. Brenda (Mrs. Jarecki's Mom) came to school to teach students about plants. They planted green bean seeds, sunflowers, and a bulb. Students learned that there are many different kinds of seeds. Seeds needs dirt, water, and sun to grow.  Experto en plantas La Sra. Brenda (la mamá de la Sra. Jarecki) vino a la escuela para enseñar a los estudiantes acerca de las plantas. Plantaron semillas de judías verdes, girasoles y un bulbo. Los estudiantes aprendieron que hay muchos tipos diferentes de semillas. Las semillas necesitan tierra, agua y sol para crecer. AM- Viking Voices  The AM students listened to the Viking Voices on Wednesday morning.  AM- Voces Vikingas Los estudiantes de AM escucharon Viking Voices el miércoles por la mañana. Happy Birthday!   Student of the Week  Alumna de la semana Make an Easter Egg Puzzle  Students were color and then cut out their egg to make an Easter Puzzle.  hacer un rompecabezas de huevos de Pascua Los estudiantes colorearon y luego cortaron su huevo para hacer un Rompecabezas de Pascua. Match those Easter Eggs!  Students had to take turns find the match to their Easter Eggs.  ¡Combina esos huevos de Pascua! Los estudiantes tenían que turnarse para encontrar la coincidencia con sus huevos de Pascua. AM- What is in the Easter Egg?  AM friends had to guess what was inside of the Easter Egg by just listening to it when it was shaken.  AM- ¿Qué hay en el Easter Egg? Los amigos de AM tenían que adivinar qué había dentro del huevo de Pascua con solo escucharlo cuando se agitaba. PM- Dye 2 eggs with Kindergarten and 6th Graders  PM friends paired up with a 6th Grader and worked on Easter FUN!!!! :)  Check their backpacks for boiled eggs.  PM- Tinte 2 huevos con Kindergarten y 6to Grado ¡L

 Student of the Week- March  Student of the Week- April 4th  Letter Yy and Zz and Number 4  4 year old students have learned all of their letters now! Keep reviewing- I am still working on the GOLD assessment and can not wait to share it with you on your last home visit before SUMMER :)  For the 3 year old students- keep working on the letters in their name and letters in their environment.  Students and Chicks  Mrs. Wemhoff's class hatched out baby chicks. The AM and PM students were invited to come on over and check them out.  Mr. Nygren  AM students played with Mr. Nygren for recess! THEY LOVED IT!  Week of the YOUNG CHILD!  Monday  PJ Day- Movie Monday  Tuesday Build your own snack  Wednesday   Make your own art- check out your child's backpack to see what they made.     Thursday  Work together...Check out what they made. (I will upload this picture next week- paint is still drying)
