Students were color and then cut out their egg to make an Easter Puzzle.

Students had to take turns find the match to their Easter Eggs.

AM- What is in the Easter Egg? 

AM friends had to guess what was inside of the Easter Egg by just listening to it when it was shaken.

Los amigos de AM tenían que adivinar qué había dentro del huevo de Pascua con solo escucharlo cuando se agitaba.





PM- Dye 2 eggs with Kindergarten and 6th Graders 

PM friends paired up with a 6th Grader and worked on Easter FUN!!!! :)  Check their backpacks for boiled eggs. 

PM- Tinte 2 huevos con Kindergarten y 6to Grado

¡Los amigos de PM se emparejaron con un alumno de sexto grado y trabajaron en la DIVERSIÓN de Pascua! :) Revisa sus mochilas en busca de huevos cocidos.

Students have finished the Spring GOLD assessment. I will finalize the assessments and share the results with you during Home Visits at the end of the year.

Gingerbread Man

  Happy Birthday  We celebrated two birthdays this week! We LOVE you both!  What did you get for Christmas?  Students were to write in their journals on what they got for Christmas.  Gingerbread Man Paper  This week, we have read different versions of the Gingerbread man, boy, girl, and family. Students had to then answer questions about the story at Center Time.  .  What did you eat first?  Students were given a gingerbread cookie. At the table, teachers watched to see what part of the cookie the students ate first. The head, arm, or leg. Then students wrote their name on a sticky note and then we graphed that information.  Why didn't the gingerbread man want to swim in the water?  Letter Cc  Students are learning to recognize, say the sound, and write the letter Cc. They are also coming up with words that start with the letter Cc.

Plant Unit- Week 1 (Plant Expert)

 Student of the Week  Alumno de la semana Number 6  Número 6 Plant Expert   Mrs. Brenda (Mrs. Jarecki's Mom) came to school to teach students about plants. They planted green bean seeds, sunflowers, and a bulb. Students learned that there are many different kinds of seeds. Seeds needs dirt, water, and sun to grow.  Experto en plantas La Sra. Brenda (la mamá de la Sra. Jarecki) vino a la escuela para enseñar a los estudiantes acerca de las plantas. Plantaron semillas de judías verdes, girasoles y un bulbo. Los estudiantes aprendieron que hay muchos tipos diferentes de semillas. Las semillas necesitan tierra, agua y sol para crecer.
