Happy Birthday GIRLS! :) 



Student of the Week 






Make a heart 

This artwork took two days to complete. Students were to paint their paper either red or pink. Then the next day, students folded their papers and then drew a curve. Then students cut out their curve. They opened it up and they made a heart! 





Draw Mat Man 

Students followed the directions and made Mat Man. This is working on the lines and curves which make up letters when we write. 





 

Sorting 

AM Students- are working on sorting my color 

PM Students- working on sorting my color, size, and details. 

AT HOME 

When you are playing with your child, you can sort their toys with them. 



What have you learn? 

Since it is the end of our project, students reviewed everything that they have learned. Students then told me what they learned through this project. Check out your child's answers.

Letter Jj 

Students going to Kindergarten next year, learned how to write, recognize, say the sound, and come up with words that start with the letter Jj. They also are working on their Heggerty Curriculum. 

.  



Mrs. Creamer's Art project 

Preschoolers went into Mrs. Creamer's classroom and students helped preschoolers make Art. Check out the pictures :)

Gingerbread Man

  Happy Birthday  We celebrated two birthdays this week! We LOVE you both!  What did you get for Christmas?  Students were to write in their journals on what they got for Christmas.  Gingerbread Man Paper  This week, we have read different versions of the Gingerbread man, boy, girl, and family. Students had to then answer questions about the story at Center Time.  .  What did you eat first?  Students were given a gingerbread cookie. At the table, teachers watched to see what part of the cookie the students ate first. The head, arm, or leg. Then students wrote their name on a sticky note and then we graphed that information.  Why didn't the gingerbread man want to swim in the water?  Letter Cc  Students are learning to recognize, say the sound, and write the letter Cc. They are also coming up with words that start with the letter Cc.

Sign Project Week 2

I have- Who has...  Students read their card with a sign on it then students had to listen to see if they have the card. For Example, I have a stop sign, who has the yield sign?  Yo tengo- Quien tiene... Los estudiantes leyeron su tarjeta con un letrero y luego los estudiantes tuvieron que escuchar para ver si tenían la tarjeta.
