Ambulance 

This week, students learned parts of an ambulance and what the ambulance does. Then at Free Choice Time, students painted, and figured out all the parts that their ambulance needed. We looked up picture of the back, front, side, and inside of ambulance. 

Ambulancia

Esta semana, los estudiantes aprendieron las partes de una ambulancia y lo que hace la ambulancia. Luego, en Free Choice Time, los estudiantes pintaron y descubrieron todas las piezas que necesita su ambulancia. Buscamos una imagen de la parte trasera, frontal, lateral e interior de la ambulancia.







Tools 

During Carpet Time, Mrs. Jarecki showed different tools that the nurses and doctors use in the hospital. 

During Free Choice Time, student then extended their learning by playing with different doctors tools and used them in the correct way.

Durante Carpet Time, la Sra. Jarecki mostró diferentes herramientas que las enfermeras y los médicos usan en el hospital.

Durante el tiempo de elección libre, los estudiantes ampliaron su aprendizaje jugando con diferentes herramientas médicas y las usaron de la manera correcta.






Virtual Field Trip 

Students watched a video of a doctors office and they learned more about what the doctors and nurses do.

Letter Ss 

The four year olds learned how to recognize, say the sound, and write the letter Ss. Students are also coming up with words that start with that letter.

Los niños de cuatro años aprendieron a reconocer, decir el sonido y escribir la letra Ss. Los estudiantes también están inventando palabras que comienzan con esa letra.

Gingerbread Man

  Happy Birthday  We celebrated two birthdays this week! We LOVE you both!  What did you get for Christmas?  Students were to write in their journals on what they got for Christmas.  Gingerbread Man Paper  This week, we have read different versions of the Gingerbread man, boy, girl, and family. Students had to then answer questions about the story at Center Time.  .  What did you eat first?  Students were given a gingerbread cookie. At the table, teachers watched to see what part of the cookie the students ate first. The head, arm, or leg. Then students wrote their name on a sticky note and then we graphed that information.  Why didn't the gingerbread man want to swim in the water?  Letter Cc  Students are learning to recognize, say the sound, and write the letter Cc. They are also coming up with words that start with the letter Cc.

Sign Project Week 2

I have- Who has...  Students read their card with a sign on it then students had to listen to see if they have the card. For Example, I have a stop sign, who has the yield sign?  Yo tengo- Quien tiene... Los estudiantes leyeron su tarjeta con un letrero y luego los estudiantes tuvieron que escuchar para ver si tenían la tarjeta.
