Students explored the classroom
Students choose what area they wanted to play in for Free Choice Time. Students could explore the Sensory Bin, Manipulative Area, Block Area, Kitchen Area, Art/ Writing Area, and Library Area.

Los estudiantes eligen en qué área quieren jugar durante el tiempo de libre elección. Los estudiantes podrían explorar el Cubeta sensorial, el área de manipulación, el área de bloques, el área de la cocina, el área de arte / escritura y el área de la biblioteca.

What are we up too? 
Preschoolers are learning the rules and routine of school. Learning the routines are very important for students because they can do task independently and they will know what will happen throughout the day. 

¿Qué estamos haciendo también?
Los niños en edad preescolar están aprendiendo las reglas y la rutina de la escuela. Aprender las rutinas es muy importante para los estudiantes porque pueden hacer la tarea de forma independiente y sabrán lo que sucederá a lo largo del día.


Handwriting and Center Time 

On Thursday, I read a book about people wearing masks to protect others from germs that make us sick. Students there were to draw a picture of themselves at school. 

Students then were to write their name with no help. They worked very hard at table time!

El jueves leí un libro sobre personas que usan máscaras para proteger a otras personas de los gérmenes que nos enferman. Los estudiantes tenían que hacerse un dibujo de sí mismos en la escuela.

Luego, los estudiantes debían escribir su nombre sin ayuda. ¡Trabajaron muy duro a la hora de la mesa!

  Happy Birthday  We celebrated two birthdays this week! We LOVE you both!  What did you get for Christmas?  Students were to write in their journals on what they got for Christmas.  Gingerbread Man Paper  This week, we have read different versions of the Gingerbread man, boy, girl, and family. Students had to then answer questions about the story at Center Time.  .  What did you eat first?  Students were given a gingerbread cookie. At the table, teachers watched to see what part of the cookie the students ate first. The head, arm, or leg. Then students wrote their name on a sticky note and then we graphed that information.  Why didn't the gingerbread man want to swim in the water?  Letter Cc  Students are learning to recognize, say the sound, and write the letter Cc. They are also coming up with words that start with the letter Cc.

Sign Project Week 2

I have- Who has...  Students read their card with a sign on it then students had to listen to see if they have the card. For Example, I have a stop sign, who has the yield sign?  Yo tengo- Quien tiene...
