First FULL week of Preschool
Students are staying busy in preschool. Students are exploring their interest area and learning to follow the routines and rules of the school. The first 3 weeks of school, I will be assessing your children on their Cognitive Development, Social/ Emotional Development, Literacy and Language Development, Mathematics Development, and Physical Development.
Primera semana COMPLETA de preescolar
Los estudiantes se mantienen ocupados en el preescolar. Los estudiantes están explorando su área de interés y aprendiendo a seguir las rutinas y reglas de la escuela. Las primeras 3 semanas de escuela, evaluaré a sus hijos en su desarrollo cognitivo, desarrollo social / emocional, alfabetización y desarrollo del lenguaje, desarrollo matemático y desarrollo físico.
Meeting Time
During Meeting Time, students come to the carpet and we sing our hello song, say the Pledge of Allegiance, figure out what the day is on the calendar, figure out the weather, move their name to school, and answer the question of the day.
Tiempo de reunión
Durante la hora de la reunión, los estudiantes vienen a la alfombra y cantamos nuestra canción de saludo, decimos el juramento a la bandera, calculamos cuál es el día en el calendario, calculamos el tiempo, cambiamos su nombre a la escuela y respondemos la pregunta del día. .
Handwriting Time
This week, students started working on their workbooks. Students traced their name and then wrote their name independently. The next day, students were to draw a picture of themselves. Lastly, students listened to a song about Right and Left hands. Students went back to the table to trace their left and right hand in their workbook.
Tiempo de escritura a mano
Esta semana, los estudiantes comenzaron a trabajar en sus libros de trabajo. Los estudiantes rastrearon su nombre y luego escribieron su nombre de forma independiente. Al día siguiente, los estudiantes debían hacer un dibujo de sí mismos. Por último, los alumnos escucharon una canción sobre las manos derecha e izquierda. Outside Time
Students found a HUGE BEE outside. Miss Kirby put it in a container so students could get a closer look.

Center Time
Miss Kirby showed students the different areas around the room. Miss Kirby spoke of how to treat the toys and what to do with items when we are done. Ask your child what we do when we see a toy on the ground? Practice the answer at home :)
Students also designed a page in our Classroom book. Students were to draw a picture of themselves at school and then tell the teachers what their favorite color is and what they want to be when they grow up.
Hora del centro
La señorita Kirby mostró a los estudiantes las diferentes áreas alrededor del salón. La señorita Kirby habló sobre cómo tratar los juguetes y qué hacer con los artículos cuando hayamos terminado. Pregúntele a su hijo qué hacemos cuando vemos un juguete en el suelo. Practica la respuesta en casa :)
Los estudiantes también diseñaron una página en nuestro libro Classroom. Los estudiantes debían hacer un dibujo de sí mismos en la escuela y luego decirles a los maestros cuál es su color favorito y qué quieren ser cuando sean mayores.
