Recycling Project- Week 1

 What do you know about Recycling?

Mrs. Jarecki asked friends what they knew about recycling and then wrote their words on a piece of paper to make a web. We will be learning a lot during the Recycling Project.

Trash Cans and Recycling Bins 

Students looked around the school for trash cans and recycling bins- students put tally marks on their paper when they found them. When students got back to the classroom- they counted how many they had all together.

Letter Hunt and Review- Number 7 

Students are reviewing all of the letters- uppercase and lowercase with the sounds. Students were hunting for the letters in books and around the room. Hunt for letters around your house and neighborhood.

What will happen to the celery?  Students came up with a hypothesis on what would happen to the celery if we put it in blue water. Ask your child what happened.   ¿Qué pasará con el apio?
