Tucker Turtle- Week 3

 Social Bugs- Sharing 

Students learned that they need to share our toys. When we share our toys we need to pass them kindly to the friend next to us and not throw them at our friends.

Los estudiantes aprendieron que necesitan compartir nuestros juguetes. Cuando compartimos nuestros juguetes, debemos pasárselos amablemente al amigo que está a nuestro lado y no arrojárselos a nuestros amigos.

Tucker Turtle 

I read a book about Tucker Turtle to students. Tucker would get mad when things happened and he would hit, kick, scream, and more to his friends. Tucker showed students a new way how to calm down. You STOP, TAKE 3 DEEP BREATHS, and think of a solution. This is an awesome way on how to solve problems. 

Home Activity: Read the Tucker Turtle book at home- when your child gets mad or upset go through the Tucker Turtle steps.

Tortuga Tucker

Leí un libro sobre Tucker Turtle a los estudiantes. Tucker se enojaba cuando pasaban cosas y golpeaba, pateaba, gritaba y más a sus amigos. Tucker mostró a los estudiantes una nueva forma de calmarse. DETÉNGASE, HAGA 3 RESPIRACIONES PROFUNDAS y piense en una solución. Esta es una forma asombrosa de cómo resolver problemas.

Germs 

Students are getting sick so this is such a great week to talk about GERMS. 

Home Activity: Practice coughing in your arm and washing hands to our hand washing song. 

Song: Tops and Bottoms, Tops and Bottoms, In-between, in-between, Round and Round, and Round, Round, and Round, and Round. Now we're clean. squeaky clean. 

When the song is done- students wash their hands. 

Gérmenes

Los estudiantes se están enfermando, así que esta es una gran semana para hablar sobre GERMS.

Actividad en casa: Practique toser en su brazo y lavarse las manos con nuestra canción de lavarse las manos.

Canción: Tops y Bottoms, Tops y Bottoms, Intermedios, Intermedios, Redondos y Redondos, Redondos, Redondos y Redondos y Redondos. Ahora estamos limpios. absolutamente limpio.

Cuando termine la canción, los estudiantes se lavan las manos.

Germ Hunt 

Students looked for germs around the room. Students noticed that germs are EVERYWHERE not just in one spot. How do you get rid of germs? Wash your HANDS! :) 

Caza de gérmenes

Los estudiantes buscaron gérmenes alrededor del salón. Los estudiantes notaron que los gérmenes están EN TODAS PARTES, no solo en un lugar. ¿Cómo deshacerse de los gérmenes? ¡Lávese las manos! :)

Germ Glitter 

I "sneezed" in students hands and when I "sneezed" germs (glitter) got on their hands. Then students had to touch their friend next to them. The germs (glitter) went all over and they spread fast! The only way the germs would come off is my rubbing hands with soap and warm water. 

Brillo de germen

"Estornudé" en las manos de los estudiantes y cuando "estornudé", los gérmenes (brillantina) se mancharon en sus manos. Luego, los estudiantes tuvieron que tocar a su amigo junto a ellos. ¡Los gérmenes (purpurina) se fueron por todas partes y se esparcieron rápidamente! La única forma en que los gérmenes saldrían es frotándome las manos con agua tibia y jabón.

Germ Painting 

Students were to paint germs all over their hands. Then they had to tell a teacher how to get those germs off.

Los estudiantes debían pintar gérmenes en todas sus manos. Luego tuvieron que decirle a un maestro cómo eliminar esos gérmenes.

Handwriting Time 

Students are working in their workbooks by tracing the straight, curvy, and zigzag lines.  We are getting ready to write, recognize, and say the letters.
