What are you thankful for?

Students drew a picture and wrote the words for what they were thankful for. 

¿De qué estas agradecido?

Los estudiantes hicieron un dibujo y escribieron las palabras por lo que estaban agradecidos.





Be Kind 

As a class, we spoke about what it means to be kind and show love to others. After we spoke as a group, students painted one hand and then put it on the heart to remind us that we need to be kind to all of our friends in the classroom. This heart will be up in the room to remind us what we spoke about.

Process Art 

Students painted half of a plate with a spork. The next day, students glued on the body, eyes, and beak. This is process art because it took more than one day to finish.

Thanksgiving Matching Game 

Students were to take turns and match the pictures to two cards. The student that had the most matches in 5 minutes WON the game.

Roll a Turkey 

Students were to roll the dice and whatever it landed on that is what they need to draw that part of a  turkey.

  Happy Birthday  We celebrated two birthdays this week! We LOVE you both!  What did you get for Christmas?  Students were to write in their journals on what they got for Christmas.  Gingerbread Man Paper  This week, we have read different versions of the Gingerbread man, boy, girl, and family. Students had to then answer questions about the story at Center Time.  .  What did you eat first?  Students were given a gingerbread cookie. At the table, teachers watched to see what part of the cookie the students ate first. The head, arm, or leg. Then students wrote their name on a sticky note and then we graphed that information.  Why didn't the gingerbread man want to swim in the water?  Letter Cc  Students are learning to recognize, say the sound, and write the letter Cc. They are also coming up with words that start with the letter Cc.

Sign Project Week 2

I have- Who has...  Students read their card with a sign on it then students had to listen to see if they have the card. For Example, I have a stop sign, who has the yield sign?  Yo tengo- Quien tiene...
