Students learned how to make 3D Art. They were suppose to make the paper come off the page. Look how they turned out!?!?

What do you know about Signs? 

Students told Mrs. Jarecki what they knew about signs. Mrs. Jarecki wrote down what they knew- now she knows what she needs to add onto their knowledge about signs. We are going to follow Creative Curriculum on the lessons.

Los estudiantes le dijeron a la Sra. Jarecki lo que sabían sobre las señales. La Sra. Jarecki lo que sabían, ahora sabe lo que necesita agregar a su conocimiento sobre las señales. Vamos a seguir Creative Curriculum en las lecciones.





Road Sign Bingo 

Students learned the different characteristics of signs. Students played Road Sign bingo. Mrs. Jarecki showed the students a sign and they were to find it on their bingo card. Each sign Mrs. Jarecki told them what it means. 

Check for different signs when you all are driving in a car.

Los estudiantes aprendieron las diferentes características de los signos. Los estudiantes jugaron al bingo Road Sign. Les mostré a los estudiantes un letrero y debían encontrarlo en su tarjeta de bingo. Cada letrero, la Sra. Jarecki les dijo lo que significa.

Busque diferentes señales cuando todos estén conduciendo en un automóvil.



Letter Kk 

Students learned how to write the letter Kk, recognize the letter Kk, make the sound of the letter Kk, and come up with words that start with that letter.

Los estudiantes aprendieron cómo escribir la letra Kk, reconocer la letra Kk, hacer el sonido de la letra Kk y pensar en palabras que comienzan con esa letra.






Happy 100th Day! 

Students have been in school 100 DAYS!!!!! Students celebrated by bringing in something of 100 things in, making hats, and then writing/drawing what they would buy with 100 dollars. 

¡Feliz Día 100!

¡Los estudiantes han estado en la escuela 100 DÍAS!!!!! Los estudiantes celebraron trayendo algo de 100, haciendo sombreros y luego escribiendo/dibujando lo que comprarían con 100 dólares.

Gingerbread Man

  Happy Birthday  We celebrated two birthdays this week! We LOVE you both!  What did you get for Christmas?  Students were to write in their journals on what they got for Christmas.  Gingerbread Man Paper  This week, we have read different versions of the Gingerbread man, boy, girl, and family. Students had to then answer questions about the story at Center Time.  .  What did you eat first?  Students were given a gingerbread cookie. At the table, teachers watched to see what part of the cookie the students ate first. The head, arm, or leg. Then students wrote their name on a sticky note and then we graphed that information.  Why didn't the gingerbread man want to swim in the water?  Letter Cc  Students are learning to recognize, say the sound, and write the letter Cc. They are also coming up with words that start with the letter Cc.

Plant Unit- Week 1 (Plant Expert)

 Student of the Week  Alumno de la semana Number 6  Número 6 Plant Expert   Mrs. Brenda (Mrs. Jarecki's Mom) came to school to teach students about plants. They planted green bean seeds, sunflowers, and a bulb. Students learned that there are many different kinds of seeds. Seeds needs dirt, water, and sun to grow.  Experto en plantas La Sra. Brenda (la mamá de la Sra. Jarecki) vino a la escuela para enseñar a los estudiantes acerca de las plantas. Plantaron semillas de judías verdes, girasoles y un bulbo. Los estudiantes aprendieron que hay muchos tipos diferentes de semillas. Las semillas necesitan tierra, agua y sol para crecer.
